Marion M. Meade

Marion M. Meade graduated from University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Communication. She graduated magna cum laude with university and departmental honors, receiving USC’s prestigious Order of Troy and special recognition by the Annenberg School for Communication. Ms. Meade studied law at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. During law school, she externed with the City of Los Angeles’ Civil Litigation Department, interned with Universal Television drafting and editing Location and Talent Contracts, and studied International Business Law abroad in Argentina. She obtained her law degree in May 2002.

Ms. Meade was admitted to the State Bar of California and the Central District of California U.S. District Court in December 2002. She began her career practicing law in January 2003 as a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney at the law firm Pierce and Weiss where, in 2007, she was promoted to Partner. Ms. Meade has also served as Senior Associate and Managing Attorney at other LA-based firms prior to joining the Law Office of Hedy Golshani.

Ms. Meade has gained extensive experience in all areas of Workers’ Compensation Litigation throughout her career. She has litigated high profile cases and garnered a favorable trial record of notable Defense Verdicts on a plethora of issues and affirmative defenses including AOE/COE, Going and Coming Rule, Intoxication, lack of witness credibility, Independent Contractor, Statute of Limitations, date of Injury, lack of substantial medical evidence, Rebuttal of Presumption, Petition for Credit, Contribution, Wage Calculation and more. She has also presented oral argument to the seven-member Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board in San Francisco.  As a result of her experience, Ms. Meade is keenly aware of the costs of litigation and as such, proactively seeks to mitigate claims costs through early settlements, whenever possible.

Ms. Meade is an avid animal lover who has devoted much of her lifetime to the protection and care of animals in need and enjoys spending time at home with her own fur-babies as well. She enjoys cooking, is a wine enthusiast and loves to travel. As a USC alum, Ms. Meade is an ardent supporter of the Trojan Football Team. Fight On!
